Prior's Coppice and Launde Abbey

Parking in the small car park at Priors Coppice Nature Reserve, the walk heads through the gates down the drive passing the cottages. 

The walk loops round to the left then follows the well marked footpaths before heading back from the other directions and back up to the start.

The countryside was pretty and the pathways on the whole were good, there were some muddy patches.

The walk passes Launde Abbey, the property is now a Church of England retreat house and conference centre. The house you see today was built on the site of the 12th-century Augustinian Launde Priory. 

This walk does have stiles and kissing gates, some gates did open.

The walk passes through fields containing livestock, dogs should be kept on a lead.
