Rushup Edge, Kinder scout and Mam Tor

Length: 9.35 miles

Starting from the National Trust carpark at Mam Tor you head uphill towards the view point at Lords Seat, from here its a long walk over the moor before dropping down Jacobs Ladder to Barber Booth. Head across the fields until the foot of Mam Tor and begin the climb to Hollins Cross. From here it is a steady walk back to the Carpark stopping first to admire the views from the summit of Mam Tor. Good footwear is essential as are decent waterproofs, the weather can be very changeable here.
