Five Dales

Difficulty: Medium

Length: 9.07 Miles

The walk starts from the Millers Dale Peak District National Park car park, the old station has a cafe and toilets.

It winds through Monk's Dale, Peter Dale, Hay Dale and Dam Dale, before turning back to Millers Dale.

There are numerous stiles on the walk and kissing gates.

We would not suggest this as a winter walk as some parts could be very slippy.

NOTE: Monk's Dale is a Nature Reserve and the walking, especially at the northern end can be very challenging.  This walk won't suit everyone but if you don't mind some mud, battling through fallen trees at times, and uneven ground, it's a walk worth doing.
